Responsible Business & Sustainability

Building Better. For People. For Devon. For the Future.

T D Everything is committed to delivering high-quality construction and property services in a way that protects communities, develops people, and minimises environmental impact.
As we grow across Devon and the South West, our responsibility grows with us — and we take that seriously.

This page outlines our approach to sustainability, safety, ethics, and long-term community value.

Our Responsible Business Priorities

We focus on four core pillars:

1️⃣ Environment & Sustainability

We aim to operate with the smallest environmental footprint possible while helping clients build greener homes and projects.

Our Commitments

  • Reducing waste on all job sites through recycling and responsible disposal
  • Sourcing materials from sustainable suppliers where available
  • Increasing use of energy-efficient tools, lighting, and products
  • Promoting low-carbon solutions to clients (LED upgrades, insulation, heating systems)
  • Minimising vehicle emissions through efficient route planning and shared travel
  • Supporting clients with eco-friendly renovation options

Long-Term Strategy

We are developing a 2025–2030 Sustainability Roadmap, covering:

  • Transition to hybrid/electric fleet
  • Carbon-tracking for all major projects
  • 100% recycling of timber, plasterboard, and metals
  • Zero landfill target for internal operations

2️⃣ Health, Safety & Wellbeing

Safety is at the heart of everything we do.
Whether it’s a small domestic job or a large multi-trade renovation, we ensure every worker and client is protected.

Our Safety Standards

  • Strict compliance with UK Health & Safety Regulations
  • RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) prepared for every project
  • PPE compliance across all teams and subcontractors
  • Weekly tool & equipment safety checks
  • Mandatory safeguarding and vulnerable client awareness
  • Clear communication with residents in occupied properties

Worker Wellbeing

We support team wellbeing through:

  • Proper breaks and safe working hours
  • Mental health awareness
  • On-site support for apprentices
  • Anti-bullying and anti-discrimination policies

3️⃣ Ethical Business Practices

We operate with transparency, fairness, and accountability in every area of our business.

Our Principles

  • Honest pricing with no hidden fees
  • Fair treatment of all subcontractors under CIS
  • Responsible supply chain management
  • Strong zero-tolerance stance on bribery and corruption
  • Robust anti-fraud measures
  • Full GDPR compliance for customer data

Modern Slavery Statement

As part of our commitment to ethical practice, we enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy toward modern slavery and exploitation in any form throughout our supply chain.
(Full statement available on our dedicated “Modern Slavery Statement” page.)

4️⃣ Community & Social Responsibility

We believe local businesses should give back to the local community.

How We Contribute

  • Providing apprenticeship opportunities for young people across Devon
  • Supporting vulnerable clients by offering essential repairs at reduced cost
  • Partnering with local councils, care services, and landlords
  • Helping residents improve home safety and comfort

  • Employing locally to boost the Devon economy

T D Everything is more than a construction company — it’s a community partner shaping better futures.
