Responsible property work

Environmental & Waste Policy

We aim to reduce avoidable waste, pollution, unnecessary travel and material loss while delivering practical property services.

Environmental choices must remain compatible with safety, building performance, customer requirements and applicable waste law.

Waste hierarchy

We consider prevention, reuse, repair, recycling and responsible disposal in that order where practical. Waste is transferred through suitable lawful routes and documentation is retained where required.

Materials

Accurate measurement, sensible ordering, protected storage and responsible product selection help reduce damage and surplus. Alternative products may be discussed where they offer better durability or environmental performance.

Hazardous materials

Asbestos, chemicals, contaminated waste, electrical items and other controlled materials are identified and handled through appropriate specialist arrangements.

Travel and scheduling

Where possible, jobs are grouped geographically and deliveries planned to reduce unnecessary mileage without compromising customer service.

Pollution prevention

Dust, wash water, fuel, noise, spills and debris are controlled so far as reasonably practicable. Drains and neighbouring property must not be used as disposal routes.

Suppliers and improvement

We encourage suppliers and partners to provide clear product, packaging and disposal information. We review practical improvements as the company and supply chain develop.
