This policy explains cancellation rights for enquiries, bookings, services, materials and work agreed away from our business premises.
Where a consumer contract is made online, by telephone or at a customer’s home, a 14-day cancellation period may apply from the day after the contract is made. To cancel, the customer must make a clear statement by email, post or another agreed written method.
If a customer asks us to begin during the cancellation period, we may request an express written instruction. If the customer then cancels, they may need to pay a proportionate amount for work properly completed and costs reasonably committed up to cancellation. The right may end once a service has been fully performed where the required express request and acknowledgement were given.
Deposits secure planning, labour and scheduling. If cancellation is permitted, any refund will take account of statutory rights plus work completed, bespoke or non-returnable materials, supplier charges and other costs already reasonably committed. We will explain any deduction.
For cancellations after an applicable cooling-off period, the accepted quotation or booking terms apply. We will try to reduce losses by reallocating labour or returning standard materials where reasonably possible.
Cleaning and short-notice services should be cancelled as early as possible. Late cancellations may be charged where reserved labour cannot reasonably be reallocated, as set out in the booking confirmation.
Business-to-business contracts do not normally carry consumer cooling-off rights. Cancellation charges and notice periods are those in the accepted commercial quotation, work order or service agreement.
Email tdeverythinguk@gmail.com with the customer’s name, property address, service, booking date and a clear statement that the contract is being cancelled.
“I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following service: [service]. Agreed on: 2026. Name: [name]. Property address: [address]. Date: 2026.”
Where a refund is due, it will be processed using the original payment route where reasonably possible and within the period required by law, after any lawful deductions have been calculated.
