Responsible delivery

Health, Safety & Site Standards

T D Everything plans work to protect workers, customers, occupants, visitors, property and the public.

This public statement summarises our approach. Job-specific risk assessments, method statements and construction-phase arrangements are used where the work requires them.

Management commitment

Management is responsible for setting standards, providing suitable information and resources, reviewing performance and making sure concerns can be raised without pressure to work unsafely.

Planning and risk assessment

We identify foreseeable hazards, who may be harmed, suitable controls and any specialist competence required. Plans are proportionate to the work and updated when conditions change.

Competence and subcontractors

People are allocated according to experience, training and the limits of their competence. Relevant qualifications, insurance, registrations and references may be checked before specialist work is instructed.

Occupied properties and the public

Access, children, vulnerable occupants, pets, dust, noise, tools, waste, temporary services and work-area separation are considered before and during work.

Higher-risk and regulated work

Structural changes, gas, electrical, asbestos, work at height, lifting, excavation and similar hazards require appropriate planning and competent specialists. Work is stopped where conditions are unsafe or outside the agreed capability.

Equipment, substances and PPE

Suitable equipment, inspection, maintenance, COSHH information and personal protective equipment are used according to the task and risk.

Incidents and improvement

Incidents, near misses and significant defects should be reported promptly, investigated proportionately and used to improve planning. Statutory reporting is completed where legally required.

Customer responsibilities

Customers must disclose known hazards, provide safe access, keep unauthorised people away from work areas and follow reasonable safety instructions.
