🟪 Modern Slavery Statement

Our Commitment to Ethical, Safe & Fair Working Practices

T D Everything Ltd is fully committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and across our supply chain.
We believe every person has the right to dignity, safety, fair treatment, and lawful working conditions.

This statement outlines the steps we take — and continue to develop — to ensure that exploitation, forced labour, and unethical practices have no place within our company or among our partners.

This policy is made in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Our Business

T D Everything Ltd operates as a multi-trade construction and property services company in Devon, providing:

  • Renovations

  • Installations

  • Electrical & plumbing

  • Carpentry & joinery

  • Landscaping & extensions

  • Maintenance plans

  • Training & apprenticeship opportunities

Because our work involves subcontractors, suppliers, and partner organisations, we recognise the importance of strong ethical controls across all relationships.

Our Approach to Preventing Modern Slavery

We implement clear, structured measures to protect workers:

1️⃣ Employment Standards

We ensure:

  • All workers are legally entitled to work in the UK

  • All individuals are paid fairly and in line with industry standards

  • No worker is required to lodge passports, deposits, or “fees”

  • No individual is forced to work against their will

  • All subcontractors must follow UK employment law

  • No one under 16 is ever employed

2️⃣ Safe & Respectful Working Conditions

We provide safe, protected, and supportive work environments:

  • Health & safety controls on every site

  • Proper PPE and training

  • Respectful treatment regardless of age, background, or role

  • Zero tolerance for intimidation or coercion

  • Clear communication channels to report concerns

3️⃣ Supplier & Subcontractor Requirements

All subcontractors, suppliers, and partners must:

  • Operate ethically and legally

  • Comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015

  • Provide fair employment terms

  • Follow CIS rules correctly

  • Treat workers with dignity and respect

We will not work with any organisation that fails to meet these standards.

4️⃣ Identification & Prevention Measures

We carry out:

  • CIS identity and eligibility checks

  • Supplier background checks

  • Right-to-work documentation verification

  • Ongoing site monitoring

  • Regular reviews of subcontractor relationships

Our leadership team maintains oversight of all labour used on any T D Everything project.

5️⃣ Training & Awareness

We ensure our team understands:

  • What modern slavery looks like

  • How to recognise risk indicators

  • How to report concerns

  • How to help protect vulnerable workers

Managers, supervisors, and team leaders receive additional guidance.

6️⃣ Reporting Concerns

We encourage anyone connected to T D Everything to report concerns regarding:

  • Forced labour
